Temporary Closure August 28th through September 4th

After a year deviating from our more recent tradition, Carter Avenue Frame Shop will be going back to closing the last week of August leading up to Labor Day (August 28th-September 4th) for staff respite. We will resume regular store hours on Tuesday, September 5th.

If you have any time sensitive framing needs, please plan accordingly and bring them in sooner rather than later. Any orders placed the week of August 21st-26th will likely be completed after the temporary closure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cost you.

Originally, the decision to close in years past during this time was due to Como Ave road construction, State Fair traffic, and to allow Mike (current owner) and Tim (previous owner and Mike’s father) an opportunity to go on one of their Montana trips, a time-honored tradition.

State Fair traffic continues to be an issue during this week for us and our customers, but all staff members at Carter Avenue Frame Shop have come to appreciate an opportunity for scheduled respite.

For those of you that think far ahead, we will plan to continue this tradition for years to come.

Please enjoy a historical staff respite photo of current (Mike) and former staff (Tim - previous owner, Karen - former gardener).
